· Strategic visioning before and during these actions.

· Bringing in new pieces to the movement work ie: rituals, created a

food etc, facilitated informal dialogues between anti-capitalists, labor and
religious activists.

· Creativity, ritual, drums, song, a living example of vibrant and fearless
nonviolence.

· Tactical experience and innovative ways to help safeguard participants in
dangerous situations. Guidance and true solidarity at critical
moments-from shepherding the Pink Bloc through the streets of Genoa to
keeping the police dogs from attacking the black bloc in Ottawa.

· Legal and jail solidarity training and experience

· Providing writing and reports from actions (mostly Starhawk) and creating
documents like Solidarity in Practice and the Anti-Oppression Principles and
Practices (in DC, Lisa)

· Development of new agendas, new approaches to preparing activists for
situations that are unpredictable and uncontrolled, and for escalating
levels of police violence.
